Australian Hosting Solutions is an Australian-owned web, domain and email hosting provider based in Strathfield South, Sydney. Every server we run sits in Australia — our infrastructure runs through Equinix’s Sydney data centres and Google Cloud Platform’s Australian region, so your customers’ page loads don’t cross the Pacific and your data doesn’t leave the country.
That’s our tagline, and it isn’t ours originally. A customer wrote this about us years ago, when we still traded as Secure Web Services:
“Above and beyond service. I purchased a new business so was changing their website to my regular host. But Secure Web Services’ service was so good I decided to change everything to them instead. 11/10!!”
We treat security and reliability as the starting point, not the selling point. What sets us apart is what happens when you need help: a real person who knows your account, and who takes ownership of the problem rather than closing a ticket.
The company was registered in March 2016 as Secure Web Services Pty Ltd and traded under that name for its first six years. In 2022 we became Australian Hosting Solutions. The new name says what we actually stand for — Australian-owned, Australian-hosted, and built around going above and beyond for the businesses that trust us with their website and email.

A lot of “Australian” hosting is a reseller account on someone else’s shared platform, often offshore. Ours isn’t. We run our own dedicated hardware and manage the whole stack on it — operating system, web server, security, backups and support.
Our servers are located in Equinix’s Sydney data centres — SY3 and SY4, Alexandria — with redundant power, cooling and network connections.

On a Sydney landline, answered by our own team — not an offshore queue.

Scott Favelle — Infrastructure and Services. Scott runs the platform: the servers, the hosting environment and the services on top of them.
Phone support runs 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, on (02) 9199 8787. Outside those hours, leave a message and we’ll pick it up the next business day.
Our servers are monitored around the clock, with a system administrator on call for critical incidents. Nobody answers sales calls at 2am — but if your site goes down at 2am, someone is working on it.
